When is registration?
Registration begins on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 9am and is open until Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 4pm. Please remember that the first seven participants/teams to sign up in their category will secure a spot for this year’s festival. All others will be placed on the waiting list. Registration takes place on this website.
What are the categories?
Child (ages 9 - 15 years) individual or team of 2
Adult (ages 16 +) individual or team of 2
Family (all ages, one adult required) max of 4
7 teams in each category
How much does it cost?
Because of our amazing sponsors, this event is completely free to all participants and spectators. We kindly ask that once you are chosen for the Festival, you stay committed.
What else should I know?
We will provide tents, table and chairs, event t-shirts and the LEGO® sets for building. We would love for you to take the t-shirt and leave the rest!
We ask that all children are accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the day. Festival organizers and Sponsors are not responsible for the supervision of participants.
Where is the Festival located and when?
In beautiful Old Town Square, Fort Collins on Saturday, July 19, 2025. A rain day is scheduled for Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 12pm - 5:30pm.
What is the schedule on the day of the Festival?
10:30am - Check In and sorting
12:00pm - Festival Opens
12:00pm - 4:00pm - Building
4:00pm - 5:00pm - Judging
5:00pm - 5:30pm - Awards
What is the theme for this year’s build?
All participants that are selected, will be required to attend a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, July 16 at 5:30pm. At this meeting participants, will have an opportunity to see which LEGO® sets they will be using and what the theme will be.
What are the prizes?
Last year we gave away $1500 in prize money for 1st and 2nd place in each category. We hope to give away more this year.
